কৃষক, সেই মুক্তিযুদ্ধার কথা আমি কোনদিন ভুলবো না – গামছা মাথায় স্বাধীনতার সেই সৈনিককে, যার সাহসীকতা ছিল কিংবদংতির মত!
কোনদিন ভুলবো না, অকুতোভয় সেই বীর শহীদদের! যারা প্রাণ দিয়েছিল বিজয় ছিনিয়ে আনতে!
কিন্তু এই মহৎ আত্নদানের কথা মনেরাখাই কি যথেষ্ঠ? প্রশ্ন তবু থেকে যায়? আমরা কি পারবো তাদের আত্নত্যাগের মর্যাদা রাখতে? আমরা কি পারবো তাদের সেই মহান লক্ষ্যকে সমুন্নত রাখতে?
Farmer, I will never forget the freedom fighter- that soldier of independence with a gamcha on his head, whose bravery was like a legend!
I will never forget those fearless heroic martyrs who gave their lives to snatch victory!
But is it enough merely to remember
this great sacrifice? The question still remains: Will we be able to uphold the dignity of their sacrifice? Will we be able to keep their great ideals held high?
Since independence in 1971, Bangladesh has transformed from war-torn poverty to a fast-growing South Asian economy by 2025, driven by progress in industry, human development, and the resilience of its people.
